Regenerative Livestock Farming
At R3H, regenerative livestock farming involves implementing planned rotational grazing within a certified organic management system, with sufficient rest periods for the pasture and animal welfare at the core of management practices. The goal is to allow the grass to complete its growth cycle, increase vegetation cover, and improve soil health, thereby promoting processes such as water infiltration, organic matter accumulation, and soil resilience.
As grasslands recover, organic matter increases and the soil’s ability to absorb water and store carbon improves, within a framework designed to generate measurable evidence. According to Pronatura Noreste’s monitoring, grass cover increased from 15% in 2024 to 25% in 2025, and bare soil decreased from 15% in 2024 to 10% in 2025.
